York Enterprises is a diverse company formed in 2003 to help serve the Experimental Aircraft community. Both Devin and Ed York "father and son" decided to form the company based on their previous experiences and skills in the homebuilding sector.
Devin York: is employed as an aircraft structural technician and is versed in all aspects of aircraft construction. He attended Sault College of Applied Arts and Technology in Sault Ste. Marie Canada and has also been trained in advanced composites fabrication and repair. Employment has included Diamond Aircraft Industries, Air Canada Jazz, XU Aviation and Goderich Aircraft. Skills include sheet metal / composites / wood and tubular structures.
Ed York: is retired from the nuclear power generation industry where he served 27yrs. as a Control Technician and has since retired and found the time to enjoy his hobbies and assist in the everyday workings of York Enterprises day to day activities whether jigging and welding an engine mount for a customer or starting another Laser project in the shop. Ed York has over the years built a Bushby Mustang 2 and is working on a Midget Mustang to be powered with a corvair engine conversion.

We reintroduced the Laser Z-200. This aircraft is in the long line of the Stephens Acro desendants starting back in 1970's with Clayton Stephens. Later to be redesigned by the legendary airshow performer Leo Loundenslager. Leo held the USA National Championship title for 7 years, and one World Aerobatic Championship.
The Laser Z-200 can be either a plans built or component built aircraft. We also assist in many other aspects of the sport and will assist in any project a customer may have. We specialize in composite fabrication and TIG welded aircraft structures.
